Medicare A & B Overview
Many people feel very overwhelmed when signing up for Medicare. Some are unsure of the cost, they don’t if they sign up in person or over the Internet. I am here to help.
Medicare is health insurance for people 65 and older, on disability for more than 24 months, and people with end stage kidney disease.
Medicare is comprised of various sections, primarily Part A and Part B. Part A handles inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facilities, home health, among other services. On the other hand, Part B covers physicians, surgical procedures, and outpatient medical treatments. Together, Medicare Parts A and B collaborate to tackle medical expenses and ensure you receive the necessary care.

Will Medicare cover all costs?
It is important to know that Medicare Parts A & B do not cover all costs for your care.
You have deductibles and copays whenever you receive medical care. You have no annual limits to your deductibles, unless you enroll in a Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage Plan. This means that if you only have Part A and Part B (original Medicare), your out of pocket medical bills are unlimited. Original Medicare does not provide extra benefits like prescription drugs, dental, hearing aids, vision and others. These are available to you.
